Clear Acrylic Rods

Clear extruded acrylic rods in three profiles - round, square, and bubble - in diameters from 1/16″ up to 3″ and lengths from 12″ to 72″. The material delivers optical-grade transparency with a glass-like surface finish, machines and drills cleanly, and bonds directly to acrylic sheet with solvent cement. Lighter and more shatter-resistant than glass, and significantly easier to fabricate.

Round rod is the standard profile for structural and display work - used in signage, aquariums, architectural models, retail fixtures, furniture, and lighting elements. Square rod is used where right-angle geometry is required: display frames, furniture joinery, and precision fabrication. Bubble rod is a specialty item: a clear extruded round rod with internal air bubbles that scatter and refract light along the length - used in decorative installations, point-of-sale displays, event décor, and anywhere the optical effect of the material is part of the design.

All rods are cut to length in-house. Standard pre-cuts run 12″ to 72″; custom lengths available up to 72″ via our order form here . End polishing, perpendicular drilling, and cementing to acrylic sheet are all available. Walk-ins welcome at 345 Canal Street, SoHo.
